Besides from guarding the territory, administration leads the eco-educational activity – regular meetings with the population neighbouring the Mtirala NP and eco-educational lessons at the schools. The main goal of this activity is to explain to them the purposes of establishing the Mtirala NP and its functions. Additionally, the administration is responsible for supplying the neighbouring population with the fire-wood.

On the 10th of june, 2008 the process of building the Visitor’s Centre in Chakvistavi had started (approximate date of presentation is end of October). The complex comprises the exhibition and information halls, 4 guest rooms and camping and picnic places.
Here one can get the complete information concerning the park, printed and photo material and accept the visitors/tourists (At the same time, a visitor can overnight at the families of the village Chakvistavi or in a camp)


At present, the administration has at its disposal the next facilities/services:
• Sleeping bag – 5 lari , rucksack – 5 lari, paralon – 3 lari,
• Tent – 7 lari /camping place – 5 lari
• guide service -35 lari per day
• auto service: car – 45 lari, minibus – 60 lari
• Conference Hall – 100 lari
